Missed a change to a delivery schedule? What clause?

    Documenting delivery schedule, work instructions, inspection criteria, etc. are evidences of conformity to 8.5.1a. Because it requires "availability of documented information..." These documents will help the organization to "implement production and service provision under controlled conditions". Deviating from them is no longer within the scope of 8.5.1a. A nonconformity but not against 8.5.1a.

    Exactly 8.5.1 but certainly without a). Because the organization does not implement production and service provision under the controlled conditions. I issued NC reports on situations when the values of process parameters (temperature, flow rate, pressure) were beyond the permitted limits. The controlled conditions were not met.

    Section 8.5 is predominately about manufacturing/producing product (or service) - not about defining/changing delivery schedules. This is where many auditors have "mission creep" regarding "process control" and its application.
