I’m new to the forum and was wondering how other shops handle keeping track of the data on parts from 1st piece buy off and in process inspections. Our company is becoming more data driven. We can track all the data off the CMM’s. But we want to try to keep track of the data for the pieces checked on the rock or with other hand tools. Is there a way to do this without hand entering the data. Are other companies doing this? Any advise would be helpful.
    Thanks
    Kyle

You need to record the data somehow, somewhere.
