Metrology Consultant

I am looking for a "consultant" who has their eye on the future of metrology equipment. I work for a company which makes very small plastic parts (micro molding) with tight tolerances. In my experience, metrology applications haven't kept up with the pursuit of micro sized parts, but that may be due to my not being aware what is out there.

I'm not just looking for a sales rep. This "consultant" shouldn't be tied to one particular OEM. This person needs to understand the difference between precision and accuracy, repeatability and reproducibility, etc.

Has anyone had success working with others in a similar capacity?
