    What all document could be the part of external origin document for purchase department.
    Can any one help me out with the examples.

    Have you asked the people in the Purchasing department what documents they need to perform their work which the organization didn't create?

    Some few samples come to my mind:
    • customer approved manuals (e.g. AIAG Manuals) that you need to satisfy when you deal with suppliers;
    • regulatory requirements for substances and materials that are regulated;
    • legislative acts mandated to all government agencies whenever they procure products and services.
