    Hi all

I have problem with the meaning of clause 8.4.1.3 title: Customer-directed sources (also known as "Directed-Buy")

I do not understand the meaning of the terms “Directed-Buy” and “Customer-directed sources” in the title. I would be so grateful if someone explain me which of my following definitions are correct or what are the right meanings:

    1. Directed-Buy means “ordered-buy” because the customer has obligated/ asked/required the organization to buy from the customer-specified supplier.

    2. Customer-directed sources means “ customer-ordered/required sources” because directing means ordering or requiring.

    3. Customer-directed sources means “ customer-selected sources”.

    4. Customer-directed sources means “ customer-managed sources”.

    Thanks all
