Under 7.1.5.2.1 Calibration/verification records it states that:
"The organization shall have a documented process for managing calibration/verification records. Records of the calibration/verification activity for all gauges, measuring, and test equipment (including employee-owned equipment relevant for measuring, customer-owned equipment, or on-site supplier owned equipment) needed to provide evidence of conformity to internal requirements, legislative and regulatory requirements, and customer-defined requirements shall be retained."

What in case of conducting estimated/auxiliary measurements ? F.ex the Operator measures the length of cables by calliper on both sides of the box and if it is not equal, Operator regulates the length of the cable on the machine immediatly.

There is nessesary to prepare MSA for calliper and keep the measurement results ?
    Thanks.

Could the operator use something else? Maybe because the caliper is being used that's the problem. If it wasn't a caliper you wouldn't have to worry about MSA etc. (Is it the only caliper? You can do MSA by family)
