Can anyone help me to understand if PSW must be mandatory to be signed by the Customer.
on the general PSW Ford template bottom side starts as:
FOR CUSTOMER USE ONLY (IF APPLICABLE)

how do we read (IF APPLICABLE)

is it a open field where customer will sign it or might not?

Give me your best thoughts on it.

    Regards

My understanding is that if you are Level 1 you do not need customer signatures, unless there are Appearance items.

    Level 3 & 5 require STA signature.

Level 3 & 5 require PD signature if you are a Priority supplier for the part/program.

Make sure you are using the most recent form from May 2013.

They also have their Ford Phased PPAP Requirements Handbook put out by the STA group that is very detailed.

You might also check for such details in the Ford CSR supplement, most US based OEMs have such CSRs
