    Anyone that can assist on the difference between the old corrective action procedure(2008) and what you would do different in the 2015 version. Must you have a corrective action plan now

    The difference is that now the organization shall
    1) React to the nonconformity by taking action to control and correct it and by dealing with consequences (10.2.1 a)
    Note: the requirement to correct the nonconformity is present in ISO 9001:2008 cl. 8.2.2
    2) Analyze the nonconformity (10.2.1 b-1)
    3) Determine if similar nonconformities exist, or could potentially occur (10.2.1 b-3)
    Additionally it shall:
    4) Update risks and opportunities determined during planning, if necessary;
    5) Make changes to the quality management system, if necessary.
    Corrective action plan is/was not required by the standard but it is useful.
