Does anyone have an excel template of the AIAG - VDA FMEA form, that they would be willing to share?
I believe - from what I was told in AIAG class this week, they will be making one available sometime.
Hello, in our company we have FMEA 4th edition.
1) Is AIAG & VDA FMEA Handbook published instead of FMEA 4th edition?
2) Won't we use FMEA 4th edition anymore?
3) Do we have to use AIAG & VDA FMEA Handbook also?
The answers are:
No, not exactly. VDA is first edition. For some customers, the 4th edition will be satisfactory.
No, it's dependent upon customers. FCA have advised their suppliers that they should use VDA FMEA but it's NOT mandatory
No - see above.
Don't overlook that the CB auditors haven't even been trained yet.
Thank you very much. Your answers always helpful for me.
It's why we are here! You are very welcome!
Do anyone have AIAG-VDA FMEA 1st Edition Draft copy. Then please share google drive link of pdf. I had also download it, but it is either lost or deleted by mistake. I am in urgent need of that. Please help me anyone.
It's copyrighted. Please don't request copyrighted materials here.
OK Andy, Sorry for that.
Do anyone have PFMEA of a sheet metal assy in new AIAG-VDA Format. Any filled template (in .xls file) for reference. Also make sure that you share data that is totally legal to share and not copyrighted.
Thanks in advance.
Very unlikely to happen. Please don't forget, this has to be the organization's PFMEA, no someone else's. Your process won't be the same. What happens if you get one and it's bad and you don't realize it? The AIAG made it very clear, if your FMEA doesn't stop making problems, they (the customers) will desource you. I'd strongly recommend you DO NOT copy someone's to use. It WILL come back and bite you.
