I work in the nuclear field as quality reviewer/incoming inspection.

I was very interested in becoming a quality auditor. I did some research and see that there are multiple training organizations that offer ISO 9001 internal auditor and lead auditor

my question is: is there a certifying body and some exam required AFTER completing a course to be recognized across Canada?
Or are you considered an auditor after completing the course?

man example of this would be non destructive testing. I had to complete a course but then write government exams then needed qualifying hours

hoping some ppl are here from Canada. Especially nuclear industry
