What are the IATF, AIAG/PPAP requirements for the customer(s) canceling a PPAP days before the PAPP submittal due date?

Sometimes after PAPP has been submitted.

Given that these are requirements imposed on the supplier, not on the customer, why would you expect there to be such requirements? You could always try to insert an early notification and penalty clause into the contract between you and the customer, but I doubt you will have much success.

I am not aware of anything specific that states that a customer has to give notice before cancelling a PPAP. I am guessing that's just at their discretion, but I would see what your purchase agreement with them states, as far as advance notice on the cancellation of PPAPS. It's possible it might state that you reserve the right to charge them for the work done prior to the cancellation. It also depends on your relationship with said customer or how big they are. In most instances, I would think businesses would accept the cancellation and move on.
