packaging waste IVR medical devices -EU reg

    I am new to the medical device industry, and I am looking into an EU regulation for IVR Medical devices, specifically European Parliament and Council Directive 94/62/EC of 20 December 1994 on packaging and packaging waste.
    Can anyone provide insight on how they provided information on this regulation?
    What exactly did you company consider and weigh as "packaging waste"?
    Appreciate any insight.
