IS clause 8.3 applied to aluminium & wooden Kitchen cabinet workshop

    Dear Friends

    for a work shop produce aluminium & wooden Kitchen cabinet, the manufacturing based on two ways:

    1. the client choose the shape of cabinet from a catalog or internet, client choose color and then the technician get the size of kitchen and start in production

    2. the client only choose the color, the technician give the advice for the shape of cabinet bases on customer needs and size of the kitchen

    is the clause 8.3 is applied in these cases or clause 8.5

    Neither. It's 8.2.1 - Requirements for Products, 8.2.2 Determining the Requirements for Products and 8.2.3 Review of the Requirements for Products.

    Are the cabinets in the catalog your company's design? If not, 8.3 does not apply.
    I believe 8.5.1 is applicable here.
