I need some new 5s examples for my training classes. It seems that there are lots of fairly boring explanations online of what a 5s is for, but few interesting examples. What are your favorites? Manufacturing specific is great but really anything catchy or even humorous.

There are many humorous photos on line.
I find that it's more effective to use only one based on the point you want to make. too many people can use the excuse that something will work for XYZ company or in your kitchen but we're different.
The beat photos I've used are before and after from my company then asking the audience what wastes are reduced. Wastes typically are excess motion, searching (waiting), defects (from picking the wrong thing out of the chaos), etc. Make it personal for your audience.

Good point, Bev. As a trainer, I've learned to use the "4 Cs" (Sharon Bowman) to help learners with their understanding and acceptance of the topic of training. In the case of using the picture, this helps to explore "Connections" of the learner to the topic which helps their "acceptance" or reduce/remove barriers to what they perceive 5S to be about. They already know something (if the learner is an adult). The examples, come in the other (3) "Cs": Concepts, Concrete examples and Conclusions. I highly recommend Sharon Bowman's work to anyone engaged in training people. It'll transform what you thought was "training"...
