    Hi Ravi,

    I second Andy's feedback...for the person who really has to understand the measuring system.

    I'll give it another star, though, becuase what you already have here is a broad brush with little detail that is good for one or two levels above that person.
    The person who want's to know why you are "wasting time studying the test instead of testing product"...and then has to write the checks for better equipment will benefit from the shallow dive that you have here.
    FWIW, I immediately printed this out and handed it to one of my managers for review and comment.

    You could have gone into more depth abut the need to understand the measurement process, in comparison to the measurement being made - not just tolerance. Also, ISO 9001 has required "suitable" equipment - doing an MSA might be vital in demonstrating that the equipment IS suitable...
