    Hello everyone.

    Is there a thing as official paper size that must be used in ISO 14001:2015 documents and records? I mean, should the paper size of my documents and records be uniform once registered to the system (i.e. all procedures and registers must be in size A4)?

    Thanks for your replies.

    No. If someone told you that, they are incorrect.

    Since you may encounter a lot of "false" interpretations of the requirements of ISO 14001 such as:
    • documents must have codes;
    • retention period must not exceed 5 years;
    • the sections of the EMS manual must have the same structure as the clauses of the standard;
    • an environmental objective must be established for each significant environmental aspect;
    • management representative must have appointment letter;
    • all inputs must be covered every management review;
    • all clauses must be covered each time an internal audit is conducted;
    • internal audit must be done once a year before a management review before a CB audit;
    • documented information pertains to records only;
    • you're not competent if you don't have a training;
    • CB auditor will issue a major NC if an internal audit finding that was reported as OFI is actually an NC
    I would strongly suggest that you should ask "where is the shall?"
