Can someone tell examples on special processes where conformity of the resulting output cannot be readily or economically validated is frequently in manufacturing sectors

You really need to use the definition you have stated to determine wha this a ‘special’ process for your industry, Customer(s) and internal processes. We can offer some suggestions of what might potentially qualify but without knowing your industry, Customers and processes we would be guessing and might completely miss your ‘special’ processes.

It is more effective if you could describe which processes you feel might fit this definition and we can advise from there….

If an output of a manufacturing process, for example soldering of circuit boards, where testing for the adhesion strength of the soldered parts cannot be done in all production parts because it will destroy the resulting outputs, this falls under the category of special process. Another example is the process that assemble the car airbag. Crash test cannot be conducted for all cars to confirm if the airbag will function upon collision. Because of the nature of the resulting outputs of these processes, special controls should be in place to guarantee that the outputs will be produced as designed.

    In the "Rust Belt"
Painting, plating, welding, soldering, brazing, gluing, sterilization, heat treatment (hardening, carburizing, normalizing, stress relieving), torqueing, etc.

These are the basics of commonly used "Special processes". The aerospace industry has a longer list (see NADCAP)
