Problems with 9001 accredited employer. Looking for any thoughts or advice.

    In which case, still the software design process isn't covered. The management systems aren't intended (solely) to deal with the development of software - and a company can elect to be certified for their service in the case of ISO 9001, particularly. As tough as it seems, if that's the leadership's understanding and they see no reason to have a robust process for software product development, you will have to put up with it, or try and gather the (cost) effects of not having robust designs and convince management or, dare I say, go someplace else.

    Is this the exact statement in the scope of registration? It seems very general.
