    What is the real meaning of "Other Requirements" mean in Legal and Other requirements based on the ISO standards?

    There are often statutory requirements for products, commonly covering safety issues. For example, if you make toys, the EU has certain regulations regarding paint for example. Electrical equipment must be safe and meet certain EU directives and be tested by an accredited lab. The responsibility is with the producers, due to EU product liability laws, to show compliance, because customers don't ask for those things. The statutes protect them.

    In addition to the council @Andy Nichols has already provided, there are specific examples in the Annex of ISO 45001 (ISO 45001 and guideline ISO 19011 are the only places I see this particular verbiage within common ISO documentation).     A.6.1.3 Determination of legal requirements and other requirements
