    What is the real meaning of "Other Requirements" mean in Legal and Other requirements based on the ISO standards?

    There are often statutory requirements for products, commonly covering safety issues. For example, if you make toys, the EU has certain regulations regarding paint for example. Electrical equipment must be safe and meet certain EU directives and be tested by an accredited lab. The responsibility is with the producers, due to EU product liability laws, to show compliance, because customers don't ask for those things. The statutes protect them.
