Identify outsourced processes (IATF 8.4.2.1)

    Good day QFO team;
    I'm sure everyone has seen or used various methods to address this requirement. I am curious to hear from everyone regarding a method they have used, seen, or prefer. Thoughts?

    I'd suggest that, technically, the correct place for this is embedded in the APQP process - although the AIAG APQP document is woefully lacking on details. It can be handled, by flowing down the relevant parts of the phase requirements pertaining to supplier processes.

    Agreed @Andy Nichols . Ideally, this would be identified on the control plan since the control resolution for such and identification is at the product level.

    Still curious to have others weigh in to see what they've experienced regarding this .
