We recently had a 3rd party IATF audit. We had a finding dealing written against clause 9.2.2.3(Manufacturing Process Audit).

Part of the requirement for Manufacturing Process Audits is "Within each individual audit plan, each manufacturing process shall be audited on all shifts where it occurs, including the appropriate sampling of the shift handover."

The finding was issued because we did not have evidence that their was a sampling of shift handovers. Does anyone have any examples on what they do to meet this requirement?

Simply audit your process/requirements for shift hand over? You have to have something which ensures a smooth transition from shift to shift. Audit that.
