We are picking up an old lawnmower we don't really want from my uncle, with the hopes that when he is ready to get rid of his plow truck we are high on the list, lol!
Other than that, just a regular weekend.

Friday again... and winter is approaching. We had our first sprinkle of snow this morning.

Winter tyres on the car - CHECK
Garden in order, plants covered. - CHECK
    Snow showels ready - CHECK
    Winter clothes ready - CHECK
Winter tyres on the bike - NOT YET (Need a bit of snow and ice first, as they sound like a buzz saw on bare asphalt).

    Are you lot set?

Raining heavily in southern Maine today. we've got the snowblower on the John Deere and starter motor on the 'walk behind' snow blower has been fixed. New artificial christmas tree arrived yesterday (our dachshund ate the lights on the lower bransches of the last one when he was a puppy). Gardens are all put to bed and leaves are all blown into the woods. New garage is all framed so hopefully it will be finished before the first snow. We splurged and bought a whole house generator this year and we still need to get it hooked up to the propane. whew! I'm tired just thinking about getting ready for this winter.

Cool and sunny here in Pennsylvania.

I'm as ready as I'm going to get for winter. Plow truck is fully functional and all summer furniture is put away. I should go through the kids clothes and pack away the summer stuff so thier drawers are less crowded, but I'm in no hurry to do that.

All we have left to deal with is the trampoline. We can't decide if we should take it completely down, or maybe just take off the safety net and hide it behind the garage for the winter.

Oh! I need to order some fuel oil before the snow hits. I'll do that today.

getting set for the snow that will arrive tonight. They are calling for around 4 inches tomorrow and perhaps 6 inch total snow fall from tonight through Sunday. So, I think tomorrow will be making home made chili and fresh baked bread. Still need to winterize the Harley

Sunny and cooler today, highs in the low-mid 50s (F). Looks like a nice, but colder weekend ahead.

Been cooler here this week. I'm actually wearing long-sleeve shirts now (34°F and frost this morning). We're expecting some light rain changing to snow Saturday morning.

Most of our winter prep is finished. Put a new heater in the well house this week. Blade is on the tractor. Propane tank not yet ready to top off - still around 60%.

The acoustic trio is playing a gig in our hometown Saturday night. Been awhile since we've been back there. Should be a good time.

More active in my search for a decent (upright) double bass.

We're hitting a high in the 60's today so I'll ride a bit. Still able to ride to work but before long the ice will come. One unfortunate thing about Oklahoma, we don't get much snow but we always get ice.

Day after Thanksgiving here in the US, and we have to work once again (albeit with something of a skeleton crew). So, Goofy Slippers Friday is in full swing. This year, my wife had a friend crochet some Panzer tank slippers for me. They're quite comfortable.

Friday again. We have a storm warning and the wind is picking up fast, so I'll call it a day before it cranks up to full blast. :)

just had a "jesus" meeting with my global boss. There were no surprises. I told him that he ISO standard has raised it's bar almost to the level of TS16949. I call this standard the "watered down" TS16949 or a "Risk-based QMS" standard. Now I can go Christmas shopping and buy Cochran's book on ISO 9001:2015. Meanwhile this weekend I will hit the shops for some holiday shopping. Enjoy your weekend everyone and thank you again for helping me.
