No gigs this weekend. My bandmates just returned from a week in Cancun, and one has a show in Ohio with another band tomorrow. Just planning some work around the farm, and try to put finishing touches on my funk album project.

Finishing fettling my sons Land Rover, only to discover mine has sprung a leak (water pump) so I have to start on that now! At least it gives me a solid reason to ride my motorcycles more often while it's out of commission...:D

LOL! As a matter of fact, I would bet that both are on the menu, Andy! This HOG chapter loves BBQ pulled pork AND bacon! (Yes, I got the punny play on words, but had to throw in the funny truth. ;-) )

I am working to finish my reports. Hope you get some rest in between work. We need to have that rest. Even God "rested on the 7th day after all the work He had done on creation". This photo teaches me a lesson to recharge my own "battery" sometimes. Thanks for this post.

And here comes Friday again... so why am I still at work at 5 pm?

Well... I am getting rid of as much work as possible, in order to be able to take the coming week off. We are going to accompany our daughter halfway on her way to school. We will stay in London, and she catches a train up north. :)

    Similar agendas, apparently.

Well, the wine is racked and bottled, should be ready for Thanksgiving. Picking Pears, beets and whatever is left in the garden, then cementing another 4 feet up on the chimney before winter (to get better draft), and trenching 20 ft of walk to put in pavers. If i have some extra time then I need to drop a few more dead trees for the woodpile.
I go back to work Monday completely exhausted and bent over from backache, but I have all week to rest up and do it again.

No major plans again this weekend. There are a few things on the Honey-do List that I need to knock off. Hoping to get in some more work on music projects, and perhaps a round of golf with some friends (played terrible last Sunday, and need to redeem myself).

I will be raising my glass to the success of your daughter. And congratulations to you for raising her up to this point.

LOL...wish I could...Ill be waiting in traffic around all of the closed roads around his visit.

Thankful that my last trip was cancelled...I was supposed to land in PHL yesterday...would have turned a typical 30minute drive into multiple hours.

I live >25 miles from ground zero, and there are roads closed up here!
Folks around here are calling it Pope-pocalypse.
They have essentially closed the city of Philadelphia, and closed the Ben Franklin Bridge to make it pedestrian only...it is 2.5 miles long!
hundreds of people can't drive home due to the "No-drive" zones.

Love that he's here...but wish he were in NY.

Well, I have the closest view of Pope Francis. And I do not have to be a part of that mayhem.

Well, I will make it official, the "things I plan to do this weekend" are apparently, "production objectives". And I can never seem to accomplish any of them fully.
From now on, there is no "To-Do list", just a wish list.
