    Have you asked the people in the Purchasing department what documents they need to perform their work which the organization didn't create?

    Some few samples come to my mind:
    • customer approved manuals (e.g. AIAG Manuals) that you need to satisfy when you deal with suppliers;
    • regulatory requirements for substances and materials that are regulated;
    • legislative acts mandated to all government agencies whenever they procure products and services.

    Another samples:

    · Customer specifications

    · Industrial Standard applied to your products

    But the advice from Andy Nichols is the best one, ask questions to the right people
