    Hello everyone
I wonder what is the difference between a NCR (nonconformity report) and a nonconformity log file.
Because in both I can have the control of aspects the standard is requiring.
    Description of problem
    disposition
    Responsibles
    communication
    when an AC is required.
    the closeout.

Regarding the NCR I refer to a form that is filled out by hand or computer, while the log file is a simple
    worksheet.
I have seen that is easer to use the log file (less time) comparing to use the NCR every time
I need to register a nonconformity.

Or the NCR had to be used according to the severity? more costly, quantity of defects?
Please feed me back on this issue.

    Thanks

A NCR report usually details what the non-conformity is - where it was found, who found it, what was found etc and may have a place for later processing (what was done and who authorized it).

A log usually tracks the individual NCRs, so they don't get "lost".

    Simples!

Thanks, Tracks all kind pf NCRs, which needed to have NCR and those who not?
Although is possible to have the "full" information in the log file as well?

NCRs are reports. Logs track NCR. Why make it more complicated?
