    HI all,

Looking at Implementing a 14001:2015 management system this year as well as transitioning to the 2015 9001 standard. i have an established ISO 27001:2013 Management system in place..

Is the Context of the organisation sections straight up transferable, or does it have to be tailored to the specific Management System you are implementation?

    Thanks in advance,

The context should, in theory be somewhat usable in all management systems, but in practice the needs and expectations and possibly even interested parties may well have subtle - but important - differences. If you did, for example, a SWOT analysis, would the results come out the same for the ISMS, QMS and EMS?

There will be some overlap between the QMS and EMS context, but there will also be some areas unique to the respective management system. Also, your interested parties would have some degree of overlap as well. However, you must consider the focus on your QMS is different than the focus of your EMS and your context of the organization needs to reflect that.

Customer is one of the most important interested parties in QMS. Is customer also an interested party in EMS, except where some or most customers recommend their suppliers to be ISO 14001 compliant?
