Paul...didn't realize you are a bassist. I actually zoomed into your display pic here and counted the strings :). And looks like you compose too!
I've always been in awe to anything that leans towards Jazz and the Blues. My sense of rhythm gets messed up at times, much to the annoyance of the rest. Just picked up a Mapex jazz drum kit a week ago. Have been practicing drumming with a metronome to improve.

On another note, I've been searching for the complete tablature for the Blue Danube Waltz. Do you know of any place I can find them? Thanks. And I'm a little challenged reading staff notations.

I am a bass player by profession. I actually (currently) play 12 instruments; guitar, bass, drums, piano, organ, violin, viola, cello, trumpet, trombone, recorder, and shakuhachi, and I also sing.

I'll see what I can find. May be a few days, though.

I will try not to get into the QFO for once. However if I blink I might lose the website.

I think you put the picture of your bike in a restricted folder on Dropbox? Can't see it, I'm afraid. o_O

OK I broke my own resolution (even if its not New Year's). I visited this community and catch up with some reports.

I've been going to local lakes and fly-fishing. When I'm ready to rip someone's head off (figuratively speaking of course), I toss my rod and reel into the car and go. Even if there is zero action on a visit, I feel 100% better by the time I'm ready to go home - I love every minute of it. Caught myself singing along with the radio more than once.

If my wife loved it as much as I do, wouldn't that be something?

I only completed recording the basic tracks of drums, bass, guitar, and keyboard. I still want to do a few touch-ups, hopefully this weekend, then start the mixing and mastering process. It'll be a few more weeks before that's all done (this pesky day job gets in the way). I'll let you know when it's finished.
    Thanks for asking.

    My
husband is a fly fisherman as well, has been since he was quite young. Once the rivers open, and the days start getting longer, I often meet him after work. I find it peaceful, the sound of the river, birds flying around. I bring a salad and we BBQ the trout for an easy dinner. Fabulous especially after a difficult day...

Fly fishing sounds idyllic! I went for a ride on my big bike (in my avatar) yesterday morning. Today, I was beating the crap out of a rusted front hub/knuckle on a J**p. But I did get the job done and hopefully the truck will be off my driveway soon! I need to do some yard work...

Another shot of the bikes. It's raining today, so I used the one with the mudguards this morning.

I spend a lot of time watching football (soccer for my american counterparts) and i often play poker.

Anything that takes my mind off the stresses the working week can bring .... alcohol helps too of course
