ISO 9001:2015 certified company move to IATF 16949:2016

    Hi,

    An ISO 9001:2015 certified company can go for IATF 16949:2016 Letter of conformity, with just having one Automotive product enquiry?

    As it is beginning there is no possibility of doing Internal/Product/Process/Layout inspection audits.

    What is your opinion?

    Can I ask why you don't think this is possible? Internal audits are a part of ISO 9001, and you can do the others if you are in production - doesn't matter if the product is automotive or not.
