    Dear all,
Are an outdated version found in use during the internal/external audit a nonconformity case and needs a corrective action or only correction?
    Regards,

Not enough information for us to make a determination.

Assuming it's an important document, I would want to know why it wasn't recalled and replaced. That would probably need fixed.

It would help to know what type of document you're referring to. If it's a work instruction, form, drawing, etc. I would say a corrective action would need issued. However, if it's a document that isn't normally controlled and not directly associated with the quality management system (i.e. inventory spreadsheets, repair manuals, etc.) then it would just require a correction.

When caught using the outdated version, are they using the old criteria or requirement specified in it for the current process/operation /product? And, by using the old criteria/requirement, this will produce a nonconforming output? Is it intentional or unintentional?
