    Good day everyone.

I have a question regarding the achievement of established objectives. Is it really necessary to file for a nonconformity report for unachieved objectives based on monthly evaluation?

Like for example, we have an objective of reduction of electricity consumption by 1%. Results of implementation were gathered from August to December. Data shows that 1% reduction was achieved from August to October. However, November and December data shows unachievement of the objective. Overall results, though, shows that the objective was achieved.

Should I file a nonconformity report for the months of November and December? Or is it okay that objective was not achieved for these months since overall data shows program implemented was effective?

    Thank you for your response.

I don't believe so. Typically objectives are set for the business "year", as with budgets, quality objectives etc. So don't worry about individual results, look at trends.
