    Hi,
I do not have a quality background. I was graduated 15 years ago from pharmacy school. I was interviewed recently for a job as a quality control scientist, the interviewer asked the following question that I couldn't handle.
" What is the most important integration parameters?

What is the right answer for this question?

Thank you so much for taking the time to help me here.

I suspect that this is an industry specific term. I have been in quality for 36 years and have never encountered it before. A quick google search seems to associate it with chromatography.

Do you still need to know this answer?

It relates to Gas or Liquid Chromatography. It is the settings in the specific method of analysis that allows the data system to pick and integrate (quantify the area under) any specific peak (analyte) of interest. Some parameters would be things such as Slope Sensitivity, Area or Height Reject, Tangent skim/baseline resolution.
