Calibration Certificate Verification

    While reviewing a calibration certificate, I saw that the person that calibrated the instrument is also the person who approved and signed as the Quality Manager.

    • Is this against regulation...if so what regulation?

    No. Some labs might only have a few people so the ISO/IEC 17025 requirements have to allow for many hats to be worn. Do you have a problem with it being the same person?

    In the 2017 Version, there's no regulation that stated that the "quality manager" may not do a calibration.
