mopp requirement between paddles of defibrillator and secondary part

    please help me about means of patient protection and test voltage
    related to defibrillator device.
    main capacitor charge to 1500vDC at 200j.
    how much insulation should exist between paddles of defibrillator
    and main capacitor? ?mopp ?vrms or DC

    I don't know if it answers your questions, but take a look at BS IEC 60601-2-4 (Particular requirments fo rthe basic safety and essential performance of cardiac difibrillators)

    This is currently in draft, but available from British Standards (BSI).
