    Morning all,

Can anyone shed any light in plain English as to a simple and effective way of dealing with the requirements in 6.1.2 for considering a life cycle perspective. The industry involved is welding, fabrication and powdercoating.

    Thanks

Are you providing these as "value added" services to customers? They bring you their requirements (and/or products) and you weld and powdercoat them? And fabricate products which you send back to them? In that case the "life cycle" is the of the clients products, since you don't actually have a product, it's a service. If your fabrications are from materials (steel, aluminium etc) which you purchase, how you deal with the off-cuts etc. could be considered under the lifecycle considerations (as scrap for return to the distributor/mill) etc.
