    Hi There,

I am planning to pursue a career in becoming a full pledge TS16949 auditor. Currently I am not attached with any certification body and would appreciate if anybody can provide an insight on the auditor qualification requirements and certification process flow. My previous employment I was a quality engineer for 9 years and QA/QC Manager for 1.5 years in two separate companies.

    cheers

I was QA manager in a TS16949 based company for 1.5 years (semiconductor based industry).

OK, good. Each CB will have its own auditor requirements, based on the IATF requirements. Find yourself a CB who you can work with (by that I mean pay, conditions, benefits, how they treat expenses etc) and see if they will help with the qualification requirements. I used to work for NQA who is the biggest TS CB in Asia (by # of TS certificates) and they might be interested.

I'm not sure I understand your question. The OP is asking about a career as a TS 16949 auditor. What are you asking about?

I believe the ONLY IATF-sanctioned training which is available to CBs is the Plexus training. You cannot attend this without being sponsored by a CB, so your question is moot.
