    Friday again? The weeks are passing us by in a bit of a blur... But: I did order Craigs book, and got myself a new toy. A Raspberry PI (I know: Geek Alert! :D)... Anyway, It is going to be a media player.

    Last weekend I went Christmas shopping. This weekend I will put on my santa hat and make my favorite cookies- phephenuze (do I spell this right?), rum balls, and pecan balls. And yes I not only bought Cochran's book but also Andy's Nichols book on Internal auditing. I am a work in progress. Happy Holidays

    Ahhh ... Friday. Finished a rather large ECR review project here at work yesterday, and cleaning up some little things on it today. Glad that's done. It's been eating way too much of my time over the last couple of weeks.

    The wife and I will finish up our Xmas shopping this weekend. Will be glad to be done with that as well.

    This is a three day weekend for me. Took my last vacation day on Monday. One of my favorite rock bands from the '80s, Zebra, is playing at a small local venue Sunday night. Looking forward to seeing them again. I picked up an Anton Krutz double bass the week of Thanksgiving, so studying with that in earnest now. Also hope to finish production on another music project.

    Busy, busy, busy. Hope everyone has a safe weekend.

    My daughter has her first school dance tonight, and we are having a few of her friends sleep over afterwards. Then we have a Christmas party at the church, a swim meet (these take soooooo long!), Sunday school, Pictures for the swim team, and round the weekend off with a visit to my brother who is having his 4th bypass surgery at age 54.

    I wish my weekends weren't so boring, lol!

    My department had it's annual 'bowling ball' today. We go to a local spot and have a formal bowling competition and there is laser tag and various high end arcade games. They feed us junk food and have door prizes. We have a really tacky bowling trophy for the winning team and competition is fierce and fun. Oh and then we get the rest of the day off. Everyone form the operators to the Vice President of Operations goes. so I'm hunkered in as it's supposed to snow a bit tomorrow here in Maine.

    I took off a half day and had my last wisdom tooth pulled Friday afternoon. I think I would rather have been at work all day.

    Today is Friday and I am catching up reading this good stuff here while working on my QMS reports from my auditors. I will be on vacation starting Feb 22 through March 2. I will not have access to a computer which will be a total winding down for me. Keep the QFO sailing with good information. Thank you moderators.

    Sooooo ready for the weekend! If only I could actually have some downtime! Son is practicing baseball, work day at the baseball field, daughter has 2 play performances (Oklahoma!), attending the play performance, father-in-law coming in, big meal Sunday at church. And I have 8 pillows to finish and 2 quilts to start. Crazy as I am, I wouldn't have it any other way!
