    Any input on this document as a reference for risk management vs. other books or guides?

    Is this standard enough for starting a risk mitigation program?

    Yeah, it's VERY comprehensive - maybe too complicated for most. But, WTH? Go for it!

    I'm not expert but I was been Yesterday to a conference where one of relators was G.Detoni. She speak about business continuity, the actual situation in Italy and USA. She was able to expose the arguments so clear and so well that I would stay hours to lissen.

    The standard for business continuity is ISO 22301. ISO 31000 is a guide for risk management - a somewhat different topic, but risk is present in considering business continuity planning.
