IATF Master Sample Requirement

    Does the current IATF Manual REQUIRE an organization to retain a MASTER SAMPLE of every part number? If so, where is this mentioned in the standard.

    @John C. Abnet is accurate. IATF 16949 does not define master samples. Customer requirements, including those for PPAP, may well be flowed down contractually, and as a result IATF 16949 will require compliance to those requirements.
