Vendor Management Software and Quality Assurance

My company has recently decided to install a vendor management software to help with the process in the department. We wee facing quite a lot of issues regarding productivity and quality of service delivered. We as a company believe that quality is more important than the quantity of products we deliver.

Vendor management was a pain point for our department as there were a lot of vendors and suppliers with whom we dealt with monthly, but could not keep it well documented. This is when we decided to go with a software that could help us keep a proper record of vendors.

It has indeed saved us a lot of time and energy enabling our team to focus more on the quality part. We mainly deal with farm products and is planning to create a quality check list. Could you suggest some important points to be taken care of and a decent quality measurement technique for us to start with? We are a small sized organization.
