Can you provide the statement of nonconformity from your auditor?

Hi. There are no requirements in ISO 9001:2015 to document your organizational knowledge. But you still have to do it. you need to be in a position to demonstrate that you are ensuring that the key elements (knowledge) of your organization is transferred (especially between the experienced employees and new ones) and the various information (not written in the documentation) is shared.

It is easy to get a non-conformity on this if you do not have any strategy to identify and share the knowledge.

Are new employees go directly to perform tasks and produce outputs on the positions/functions they applied for? Without any induction, orientation, training? Do your old and seasoned employees refrain from giving pointers to newbies? Don't you have on-the-job mentoring? When your organization encounters problems and solutions were taken, did you not inform the concerned people about the solutions? No stand down meetings or the like? No discussions in any means about what went wrong or right? No communication of near-misses or quality issues that were solved? No using and sharing of knowledge?

If you have some form of the mechanisms similar to the above questions, I don't think 7.1.6 is difficult to fulfill.

Even something as simple as notes made on a shop traveller, or similar can be a way to establish knowledge. And its not aways for "next gen" workers.

We also receive OFI for this organizational knowledge. To get everyone can receive and view this knowledge we use media platform (Sharepoint) so everyone will get the knowledge material and auditor also accept this method.

Sorry not OFI, it's verbal comment. As organizational knowledge is new requirement for 2015, auditor just highlight to be recorded and accessible to everyone in the team. As HQ we handle all subsidiaries ISO, one company certified with Q-ESH (construction), the other just QMS (car park, environment services, transmission technology) with different scope of company.

Except that's NOT what is required by the standard! Your auditor is not helping when they do not describe what's actually required.
