    Hi ,

We just started small company in Philippines and our main service offered is Instrumentation and control calibration , we got some clients that having rare equipment need calibration , We accepted their requirements even we dont have facility to do calibration , what we did we send it to other company abroad to do the calibration /validation , my doubt is about the certificate we going to give to our clients , can we give other documents aside from the certificate provided by our third party calibration ?

thank you very much in advance ,

    regards

You can give whatever you want - unless you are ISO/IEC 17025 accredited. If you are, you didn't comply, unless you informed the client BEFORE you accepted the work.

You might want to be certain your customer knows you didn't do the calibration. If you don't that's unethical and they might want to know how much money you made for not doing the work...

Hi thanks for you response , Yes we did inform them that we dont have the facilities and we are going to send it abroad , we will just provide them the original certificate and verification letter aside from the from us saying that we did verify the company who did the calibration for their authenticity to do the job .

    thanks
