So, Good news yesterday was the last part of our Stage 2 audit and my company is officially ISO certified.
I was hired in August of Last year with this company who had never been certified and most of the management had heard of ISO but never implemented it or really knew what the standard was. We got to work, and in under a year we were able to implement a QMS that is certified to ISO 9001:2015.
    Thank you guys!

    Congratulations @KyleG !

These things don't "just happen". It is obviously a tribute to you and those in your organization that supported the activity.

    Well done.

    Congratulations!

Just a kind reminder in case you want to advertise your certification, refrain from using "ISO certified":)

Congratulations! We have our 14001 stage 2 audit in September, I started in a compliance role a couple of months ago having never really heard of ISOs, taking over someone else's work- it is all rather daunting but good to hear of other people getting across the line!
Tony S - just out of interest, how would it best be worded- ISO 9001 certified?

Certified or Registered - either work and have the same (ultimate) meaning. Just be sure to post your certificate, because simply claiming certification is meaningless.

How long after (generally) the stage 2 audit does it take to physically receive our Certification?

it depends on the certification body, in my experience, the responses to minor non-conformances need to be accepted before the certificate is issued.

The CB I worked for could perform the necessary file review, including any corrective action submissions, and process out a certificate (.pdf) - based on your prompt payment of the required fees - within 30 days. Your mileage may vary...

Good day @CatherineR and welcome to the site.

@tony s provided you with good council and the proper link regarding what to "call" your ISO status. I would council, however, to be extremely careful in where you place/embed any reference that includes the year (revision level...e.g. "-2015" as this can create a nightmare for maintaining if (when) the revision changes. Have you ever seen any (I'm talking RECENTLY !) FCA trailers on the road that still sport the Chrysler logo and have "ISO 9001:2000 Certified" painted on them?
    How embarrassing.

    Hope this helps.
    Be well.
