    Dear members,

I am currently working as a supplier quality specialist but i want to further my career in terms of certifications and increase my skills t grow further professionally.

I currently hold certifications for auditor QMS 9001:2015 & six sigma from an online website (since i failed ASQ exam twice i decided not to go for it again).

Can anyone advise which other specific certificates i require related to my field which is mostly involving suppliers & which certification body to opt for besides ASQ which is renowned?

    Regards,
    Mustafa

CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) would be your best bet.

Key question here is, where do you want to take your career?
Do you have a goal? If so then there are specific step one can take to work towards it. If no and you just want to move up the ladder or make more money in your current field, then additional education is a good talking point for justifying either of those.

I would check out https://asq.org/cert/catalog - SUPPLIER QUALITY PROFESSIONAL (CSQP) is more specific to your current position.

Since you're looking for a non-ASQ path, you could look at furthering or expanding your supply chain education. This can take you beyond a a quality focus and look at everything from vendor risk management to inventory control to budgeting and so on.

If you go to edX and do a search for "supply chain" you will find several online courses in this field. While initially free, there is a $ price to be paid if you opt to go with the Verified track, which often includes access to the online homework, online proctored exam, etc. I often use the edX platform for my own education and professional development, as well as for my own personal growth, and have several members of my team using it for certain courses as part of their professional objectives.

    Hi Mustafa,

Did you try CSQP as advised by James on the trend? I am planning on attempting CSQP myself and will like your opinion about taking the exam if you did.
