Flow Chart 9001:2015

    Hello - I am new to this forum but am needing some help.
    I work for a small steel sales company and we are currently getting ready for our transition from 9001:2008 to 2015 - we have been working with a consultant as well, but trying to do most of the work on our own. My team and I are struggling a bit with the flow chart that is now required. I was wondering if anyone has some examples of their charts that I can take a look at to help get a better idea on where to start. I am green to the ISO world, so on top of being green and having to transition to the new standard, it's been quite interesting to say the least! thanks in advance for anyone who is willing to show me some examples!

    A flow chart isn't "now required", per se, by ISO. If you are using a consultant, don't they have such a thing? You shouldn't be paying them and then having to ask here! What's needed is to show the sequence and inter-actions between your processes:

    Inquiry>Quote>Customer order Processing> and so on...

    Do you do any value add like slitting or cutting? Or just distribute?

    You can start by showing all the processes by using blocks, additionally link them by using arrows in a sequence which occurs.
    There are a lot of samples on the web, just do a search by looking "process maps"

    Flowcharts are more detailed than "process maps". See sample flowchart below:
