    Hello!

I need your advice about if you know or recommend to me a Software (if possible that you have used) to create and organize Control Plan and PFMEA for automotive industry, we have several changes and process additions and we are considering this type of tool to maintain CP & PFMEAS in good shape.

Thank you so much for your help.

I buy the CD from AIAG. It has all the templates for COre tools used by Automotive.

Thanks for your response, we are currently using the AIAG forms. But several typo errors, so I'm looking for a software that helps organizing and have in alignment FD, PFMEA and Control Plan...
    Hopefully someone has a suggestion

Did you get the current version of Core tools? The Cove used to have a lot of templates.

    Hello,
You can try APIS or Q-DAS, both are very good. You can manage Process Flow, PFMEA and Control Plan.

We are using PACT 7.0 (MPACT). It ties the FC/CP/PFMEA together. Its basically an Access database. It works fine but I find it slow to use because its hard to copy & paste. Also, it's very slow on our network.

VW recommended something like that... I would need to check some notes I have if you are interested to find out what it was. I think it is the best way of doing things if you have the ££££ to do it.

We are using SCIO and APIS. Better in my opinion, about the APIS, because it is faster

We are now looking at ASI Datamyte's QDA. The first thing we noticed is that it doesn't carry process step numbers from Flow chart to Control Plan to PFMEA to other docs. That's one of the first things our STA looks at in our PPAPs.

Anyone else use have issues with it?

CAQ seems a good software to manage control plans and FMEA together
